2011-10-25 [Bookwyrm]: Yes, and variably. Usually my downs happen right after an up, and my ups can last anywhere from half a day to a few days. Down periods are longer. Every now and then I'll have a normal couple of days though, so I figured that might rule me out as bipolar...

2011-10-25 [Bookwyrm]: Extremely difficult to control mood swings lol. Ask my hubby, ask Stephen, ask...anybody. XD Of course I used to think it was my thyroid. Had Grave's disease. But they nuked it and now I'm on replacement thyroid hormone and it's been pretty well regulated for a few years now.

2011-10-25 [Amalaswinta]: you might want to look in to the Borderline Personality Disorder(or Emotion Regulation Disorder as I prefer to call it), it's close to bipolar but not quite the same :)

2011-10-25 [Bookwyrm]: Yeah. Like I said, I'm trying to get into see a therapist so I can get some advice. I've looked into a lot of stuff, but I don't want to diagnose myself, you know? Plus there's some pre-existing problems with depression from stuff that happened when I was a kid, so I need to see a therapist anyway. :/

It's okay though, I should be getting some form of insurance soon enough I hope. :)

2011-10-25 [Bookwyrm]: lol Proper medication would be a godsend to me right now. XD I've still got to see someone about my chronic inflammation/pain that just keeps getting worse. XD They thought I had costochondritis for a long time, but I've had this problem for over three years and it never goes away. >.>
